Down here in Melbourne, very soon, we will say au revoir to cool winter and of course say a big bonjour to spring ! Even though many places in Australia stay very warm in winter months, Melbourne experiences real chilly winter season. Yes, it’s sometimes a bit brisk for my liking and the daylight doesn’t last very long, BUT I have a ‘soft spot’ for winter … maybe because it reminds me of home, maybe because I have an excuse to wear a hat and a scarf everyday or maybe because after chilly winter the anticipation and the arrival of Spring is juuust a little bit sweeter and appreciated! One thing is for sure every season is beautiful, colourful and inspirational in design, photography or any other creative pursuit.
